I want to be clear about where the podcast is headed in 2026.
Yes, I want it to continue. The show is not ending. What is changing is how it runs.
Rob, my former co-host, decided that podcasting was not for him. No drama. No fallout. He gave it an honest shot and realized it was not something he wanted to keep doing. I respect that. Creative projects only work when the people involved actually want to be there.
That leaves me with a decision to make. Right now, the simplest and most realistic option is to take the podcast into a solo format for a while. My schedule is strange at the moment and locking down consistent recording time with someone else is harder than it used to be. Rather than put the show on ice, I would rather keep it moving.
Episodes will likely land in the 10 to 20 minute range. Shorter. Focused. Easier to record and easier for you to listen to without committing a full hour. Think tight topics, clear thoughts, and getting in and out without padding.
Content-wise, I also want to widen the scope. Fantasy is not going anywhere, but I want to start talking more about Palladium material in general. That means sci-fi, modern, horror, supers, and the weirder corners of the system that do not get much attention.
I am not closing the door on a future co-host. If the right person comes along and schedules line up, I am open to it. For now, this will be a solo operation while I find a steady rhythm again.
If you are reading this on the blog, I would genuinely like your feedback. Tell me what works for you. Tell me what you want to hear more of. Shorter episodes. Specific Palladium lines. Rules talk. Setting ideas. Solo gaming. Comment below and let me know where you would like to see the show go.
